This traditional, colorful Coconut Dessert Soup with Sweet Potatoes, called "Bo Bo Cha Cha," is a popular street food in Singapore and Malaysia, but you can make this dessert in your own kitchen! It's super easy to prepare, and can be served as a chilled soup appetizer or as a dessert.

Two dark bowls filled with coconut dessert soup with sweet potatoes on top of a wooden board and a blue napkin on the side.

The base is coconut milk and features a variety of colorful sweet potatoes and yams. Purple sweet potatoes would be a great addition to this soup. You may even get up and dance the "Cha Cha" after eating this soup!
